That's very cute! I like the lackadaisical way Methos explains Immortals to Lex... nothing special, just another day, la la la. And Lex's response is just classic. Fun little ficlet!

But tell me, was the "oh, we'll just kick the alien off the planet because it's not like we haven't done it before" line a nod to Stargate verse, perhaps? Because that would be the piece de resistance! ;)

Two incredibly complex characters off to find enlightenment and other stuff. They do act somewhat alike. Methos as a teacher is always fun, but most people tend to have him blurt out the fact that he's the oldest, which I don't see him ever doing.
Lex's POV seemed very IC, excellent writing, engaging conversation.
