To the Gallows Foot and After

Not a romance, but rather a tale that explains beautifully the partnership between Wolvie and his Firecracker. When Jubilee starts having nightmares about Wolverine being in trouble, she tries to convince the other X-Men that he needs help, but everyone assures her that he's perfectly capable of taking care of himself. Jubilee, of course, knows otherwise, as when she first met him she had to rescue him off a cross in the Australian Outback. Determined to find him, she heads off on her own to Madripoor. She finds him and, just as she suspected, he's in trouble. *Sigh* I really miss the team of Wolvie and Jubiliee running around having adventures. My favorite X-Men and Wolverine story arcs always included those two.
