The Fool's Luck series by Chris P. is a crossover between Uncovered (in which Peter Wingfield played Max Lapena, a gigalo) and The Breed (in which Adrian Paul played Aaron Grey, a vampiric cop). That being the case, it might appeal to those who enjoy D/M in Highlander... or it might not. The story is slash (Max/Aaron). The writing is superb and the characters are very well-developed. For instance, I've never seen Uncovered, yet I had no problem following the story or understanding the character of Max. Currently, there are two stories available out of a planned trilogy, but you're not left hanging. Each story has its own plot and wrap up. This is one of those series that I go back and reread over and over again. *sigh* Can't wait for the third story... :-)
